Kamini Patel is a licensed Acupuncturist and a NCCAOM board certified Herbalist in the state of New Jersey. She has been practicing for 14 years and is specialized in health problems such as as fertility, pediatrics, metabolic disorders, decreased immunity and allergies, chronic pain, digestive disorders, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, and depression. She uses acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, eastern psychology, diet and lifestyle to guide the body back to health and balance.
At Basking Ridge Acupuncture, Kamini has sought out techniques and methods that nurture, cultivate and build health. She has studied with leaders in the field on these subjects and is committed to fostering and returning your body back to health. Kamini graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with dual degrees in Systems Engineering and South Asia Studies. After working for several years in the corporate world, she found her true calling in Eastern Medicine specifically Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. She received a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2007.
She has a good ear for the truth and is committed to getting you to back to health - pain free, falling and staying asleep, good digestion and plenty of energy. She is also the mother of three girls.
